Kipahulu Back-Side Organic Farm Tour

Aloha,

Tomorrow morning starts a full day of fun and learning combined.

It's been a lot of work coordinating all the various logistics involved to take 100 people, 4 Mini-vans, support vehicles, not to mention the Staff of Volunteers. Many thanks to the various Generous Grants and Sponsors to pull this off.

The willingness of the four Farms to open their "Homes" to this collection of interested strangers is amazing enough, but the lessons learned should help to spread even further the consciousness that our lives need to change for the better.

We plan to have video and pictures of the events to share.

The problem is the sites just can't be reproduced on film the way it feels to be there. The sounds, smells and tastes will definitely be missed out.

It's amazing how much just the smell of the plants and the Aina "land" add to the whole experience.

I know there will still be work involved for me as a volunteer and yet I look forward to taking my body and mind to a completely different surrounding.

After this, the Maui Aloha Aina Association, a 501c3 Non-Profit will then start the planning full steam ahead for the "Annual Body and Soil Health Conference" held on Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii in January.

For more on the Conference, please visit www.MauiGrown.org to read about it, plan your vacations around it and sign up for it. This years event is one not to be missed!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Follow me www.twitter.com/EmpowerMaui under my user name EmpowerMaui. Maybe I'll have coverage to give some updates during tomorrows trip.

I can't wait for the lunch of locally grown and produced foods for both Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians.
